Smathers beach, Key West by the Sea is biking distance to downtown Duval street with al the action, stores and restaurants but far enough away to relax and enjoy peace and quiet. Smathers beach has a great stretch of sidewalk for running, biking, walking or roller-blading along the ocean.  If you enjoy watersports there are boat and jet ski rentals as well as parasailing.
